A fumigation sheet either holds gas for the full exposure period or the treatment fails. There’s no partial credit. It has to withstand being dragged over a stack and pulled off again, repeatedly, without splitting at the seams.

We manufacture fumigation sheeting, food area curtains and quarantine covers at our factory in Brisbane and supply operators across Australia. Tell us the material or the performance standard required and we’ll source it, certify it where certification is available, and make it to your dimensions.

Material specification and sourcing

Please note, we are a manufacturer, not a fabric mill and not a certifier. What we bring is specification judgement and supply access: knowing which construction suits the application, sourcing it from a supplier who can certify it, and manufacturing it correctly.

What determines your fumigation sheet specification

• The gas and the exposure period. Gas retention is the whole point of the sheet. Tell us what you are using and how long the treatment runs, because that drives the material class before anything else does.
• Single use or repeat use. A sheet that will be dragged over a stack and redeployed fifty times is specified for abrasion and seam strength, not only for permeability. That is a different fabric and a different weight from a sheet used once.
• The size and shape of what you are covering. Stack dimensions, container size, and how much ground seal you need all change the finished sheet size. We make to the stack rather than supplying a nominal size and hoping it reaches.
• How it is sealed to the ground. Sand snakes, weights or a welded ground sheet each change the hem and edge construction we build in.
• Seam method. A welded seam is continuous. A stitched seam has a needle hole every few millimetres, which on a gas retentive sheet is a leak path. This is why fumigation sheeting is welded wherever the fabric allows it.
• Repair expectations. Fumigation sheets get punctured. Ask about patch kits and repair turnaround when you order rather than when it happens.

Hygiene curtains, processing area dividers, splash screens and washdown screening in smooth, non absorbent materials that stand up to a cleaning regime.

Chiller, freezer and dock curtains

Temperature separation curtains for cool room entries, chiller docks and temperature zoned areas, made to the opening and to the traffic going through it.

Commodity, grain and bulk storage covers

Covers for stored commodity, bunkers and bulk storage, made to the pile or the structure.

Insect, bird and ventilation screening

Mesh screening where airflow has to be kept while pests are excluded.

Machinery, hopper and chute covers

Covers cut to the equipment, including in product contact areas where a certified material is required.

Repairs, patching and re-hemming

Fumigation sheets and hygiene curtains both take damage in normal use. We patch, reweld, re-hem and replace fittings, including on sheets we did not make. On a reusable sheet, a repair is almost always the cheaper path.

Working with us

• Manufacturing: Everything is made at our Redland Bay factory. Cutting, welding, stitching and hardware all happen under one roof, so a variation or a second sheet is a short turnaround rather than a re-order.
• Material certification: Tell us the material or the performance requirement the job calls for and we will source material the supplier can certify, and pass that certification through with the goods. If your documentation needs it supplied with the quote, say so and it will be.
• Site measure: When possible, we attend site to measure and consult. For work further out we can work from drawings or measurements taken by your team to a template we supply.
